Where Does Dr. Vu Perform Surgery?

For cases performed under General or MAC Anesthesia, the surgery will be conducted in a private OR suite at Flagler Hospital. Cases performed under local anesthesia will be performed in Dr. Vu’s procedure room which is located on the hospital campus in the Anderson Gibbs building.

Is Plastic Surgery Painful?

All surgeries involve some form of anesthetic to ensure that patients remain comfortable throughout the procedure. If any pain is experienced, it is typically just soreness or discomfort after surgery as the body recovers. Even in this case, however, many patients describe it to be much less than expected.

How Much Does Plastic Surgery Cost?

The cost of your procedure will vary, but we offer flexible financing options and accept many forms of payment, including insurance. See our financing page for more information.

What is the Process for Scheduling Surgery?

First download this form, fill it out, and bring the completed form to Dr. Vu’s office before your first meeting.

Once a surgery date has been decided, a scheduling fee is required to make the reservation. Details of this fee are listed in the new patient paperwork form. A pre-op appointment is scheduled with our office two weeks before surgery to go over all questions and post-operative instructions. In the meantime, you will meet with your primary care physician for a medical clearance appointment. Medical clearance will involve blood work (CBC, BMP) and an EKG within 30 days of your surgery date. Lastly, a short pre-op phone call with Flagler Hospital will occur. With these steps completed, you will be ready for surgery with Dr. Vu.
