At Harmony Medical, we understand that selecting your surgeon is just as significant as your decision to have plastic surgery. I spent my early years in the Pacific Northwest, moved to the Midwest and began my quest to become a surgeon at the University of Kansas. After earning an undergraduate degree in Biology, I continued my education at the University of Kansas - School of Medicine. Upon graduation, I extended my time in the Midwest by completing my five-year General Surgery Residency at two Level-One Trauma Centers in Wichita, Kansas. My decision to pursue Plastic Surgery led me across the country to the Southeast where I completed a Plastics and Reconstructive Fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. I am Board-Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I am also an active member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

In addition to my extensive cosmetic surgery experience, I have focused my research in the development of new techniques to improve and enhance the healing process. Advances in this area can lead to a faster recovery period and a better quality of life for my patients. Kelly, Harmony Medical's Practice Manager, recruited from New York City with marketing experience at corporations such as MTV Networks and a background in the entertainment industry brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to the practice. Her respect and concern for Harmony Medical's patients is evident through her professionalism and discreet demeanor. As a friendly and trustworthy natural coordinator, Kelly is eager to oversee patient relations, manage operational aspects of the practice, and plan and host events for Harmony Medical's patients. Kelly's goal is to ensure each patient knows he or she has made the best choice by choosing Harmony Medical and Dr. Vu, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, for all Reconstructive and Cosmetic procedures.

Lesa

Lesa, Harmony Medical's Clinical Aesthetician, is eager to share her extensive knowledge and experience in comprehensive skincare techniques with our patients. With over 15 years of experience in the medical field, Lesa's desire to help patients look and feel their best led her to get her Aesthetician License in 2001. For the past 8 years she has worked exclusively within the Plastic Surgery field. With Dr. Vu and the Harmony Medical staff, Lesa provides comprehensive skincare assessments and state of the art treatments such as medical grade chemical peels, ultrasonic microdermabrasion, light therapy facials, and medical dermaplaning.

Additionally, Lesa collaborated with Dr. Vu to design a Pharmaceutical Grade skin care line for Harmony Medical. The products help to maintain the results of spa treatments and prevent further skin damage. Always with a smile on her face, Lesa will put you at ease during your consultation.

Sara

Sara, originally from Tampa, relocated to St. Augustine upon graduation to begin an internship with Dr. Vu. Her dedication and compassion towards Harmony Medical’s patients has carried over into her full-time role with the practice. As an experienced and skilled Medical Assistant, Sara possesses the knowledge and judgment needed to assist Dr. Vu with patient care. As a valuable member of Harmony Medical’s team, she obtains accurate Histories & Physicals, provides pre-and post- operative care, and routinely serves as Dr.Vu’s first assist during in-office procedures. Sara’s goal is to insure that all patients are assisted in a timely manner and that each patient feels at ease during his/her time at Harmony Medical Plastic Surgery Center.

Kathryne

Kathryne, Harmony Medical's Licensed Practical Nurse, is a familiar face at both our St. Augustine and Ormond Beach offices. As an original member of the Harmony Medical team, Kathryne has played an integral role in patient coordination from day one. She combines her extensive knowledge of patient care to successfully coordinate business operations and patient relations. Her passion for patient care has driven her continued medical education. Kathryne's goal is to continually bring caring, understanding, and professionalism to Harmony Medical.
